Be careful with those angry cock fans.

Nothing like an angry "cock."

Guess we will all have to watch the MAC games for that then. :D:D

I can remember a couple of good ones from Alabama, one from Florida (all long retired), one from Tennessee (who's still playing), ...

Yup,
Watch the MAC if ya want to see the next round of QB's, don't know how long that will last, but they've done pretty good so far.

And Yes there are others as well.

Let's see. Rothlesburger, Pennington, Charlie Frye, .....etc

...or join the SEC, so they can take on the mighty Sun Belt.

Pains me to say it but this is indeed a valid criticism of the SEC. The OOC schedule by and large is weak with a few notable exceptions. Far, far too many Divison 1-AA schools on the docket.

I know schedules are made far in advance but if it were me I would love to see a stipulation for all teams residing in BCS conferences.

Would be as follows: All BCS Conference teams would be required to schedule a minimum of 8 Conference Games along with 2 Non Conference Games that could only be played against teams from other BCS Conferences. The other two games could be of the schools choosing.

Would be a better more competitive schedule, also create more attractive matchups for TV.

At 4 year intervals Confernces could decide as a whole whether too keep the 2 Non conference BCS opponents or drop one and add a 9th conference Game for the next 4 years.

Either way, great matchups and a better test of a team's strength.

As an added bonus the Big Least would be exposed to an even further degree than they already are. :D

Yeah. Like the ACC is REALLY so much better.:D;)

For the last few years, the Big East was highlighted by thrilling offense and great players like Pat White, Steve Slaton (who is actually playing well in the pros), Ray Rice, Donald Brown, LeSean McCoy (no relation to the guy on this site of the same name :D), Brian Brohm; thrilling shootouts featuring Louisville, West Virginia, Rutgers, and UConn.

Meanwhile, the ACC is showcased by incredibly boring teams- though Georgia Tech is an exception- like Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Florida State, and Maryland.

Hopefully that will start to change. And while the BE has been successful in recent years, I can't think of any of their teams that are supposed to be that good this year. I guess Pitt may be the favorite, but Wannstedt still coaches them so they'll probably lose at least 4 games. WV won't be as good this year and Rutgers and Louisville straight up suck now.

Uh oh, frame this response:

Sabres, I totally agree with you on GT. I love watching Paul Johnson's offense.
