NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

Michigan/Penn State or USC/Washington State:

Which game will be more horrifically lopsided?
USC-Washington St will be. WSU might be the worst team in the country. They had to have an open tryout for QB this week and one of the kids might actually have to play against USC. Michigan is bad but I bet they don't get beat by more than 20. USC could win by 70.

Would you still say that if Texas had lost?
Will you still respect us in the morning?:D
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO:D Yea i love college football! I like two pac 10 schools and i live in pac 10 country. So people here only like the Ducks. Which i can't stand! I have seen a few games but only because i have had friends play there.

So WHO has USC beaten since thier loss to Oregon State to move up to # 4 ?

Jimbo

They're actually #6 in the AP Poll and #4 in the USA Today Poll.

And to answer your question, USC has beaten #23 Oregon and unranked Arizona State, both at home since their loss to Oregon St.

Following USC's loss to Oregon State, they dropped from #1 to #9. Since these two unimpressive wins though, they've vaulted all the way to #6. I don't understand the math here either.....

I was just checking, didn't know if I was the only one that doesn't understand the fuzzy math.

It will start to wash out here soon, the BCS poll comes out after this weeks games.

TCU is putting a beatdown on BYU.

Is this good or bad for the Mountain West Conference?

I say bad- that Utah game loses a whole lot of luster if both teams aren't undefeated.

TCU DID hold Texas Tech to 6 points in 2006; they do have a history of holding down big offensive teams.

In 2005, they had only one loss, yet FOUR-loss Florida State made the BCS?

Florida St won the ACC that year so it wasn't like TCU was snubbed. They have a pretty good program though. TCU's only loss was to Oklahoma, and they beat the Sooners in Norman a couple of years ago. I'd be shocked if someone doesn't hire away their coach.

Now that BYU has lost (LT's alma mater, BTW),

are we going to have ANY BCS Busters?

Or, are we going to have another mediocre at-large?

This would be the typical place for ND to get into things, they stink, but they have an agreement of sorts with the BCS, Talk about buying your way in.

Do I dare say BYU's loss opens the door for TULSA?

Oh, and that BYU/Utah game- my choice as the biggest game of the year- goes out the window with lots of luster lost.

DAMN YOU, TCU!!

Now, the 22nd of November will be ANOTHER day of Ohio State/Michigan overkill.
