At least that was the excuse you all gave when it should have been Ohio State and Michigan a few years back.
And their respective bowl games showed why they shouldn't have been number 1 & 2 (Ohio St. had an argument by being the only undefeated left, but Michigan was a bunch of whiners). The only reason Ohio State wanted a rematch was because they knew they could beat Michigan, but were afraid of Florida (for good reasons). Michigan failed to back up their whining by getting trounced by USC and showing why they shouldn't have been in the MNC game.
I just said there was a chance. I can see Texas winning out (I think their toughest games are behind them), but with the defense OU has shown this year, they could lose two more games and drop out of the top 20.

By the way, that record will be one win closer after this November. I really can't see us winning this season. After that, just 15 more wins to tie the series up. I won't live that long, even if I live to be 100.
