#10 Penn State falls to unranked Michigan, Louisville falls to a second unranked opponent. Add that to Michigan's preseason ranking and does anybody else think that pollsters don't know what the hell they're voting on?
Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah.
We'll find out Saturday.
As I expected, OU took UF's spot as #3 in the AP poll. I'm not sure what game the coaches watched, 'cuz UF is still #3 in their poll.UF Squeeks by Ole Miss on their first away game.... Lets hope these next few games go easy, so when they meet LSU they can claim the spot as #1 team in the nation
I guess we found out, eh?
Salsadancer - want some crow for your post re: my predictions?
Minimum 2 wins in that stretch of 7, but I'm thinking 3 or 4.
Also - call me when the SEC stops loading up on the Sun Belt, and the ACC stops losing to everyone.
I'm just hoping for a showdown with the traitor chickens (BC) in a bowl game!
LMAO..!!! A BOWL GAME??!! AGAIN, you have beaten no one and you have YET to even go through the toughest part of your schedule. When the season has completed, and your UCONN Huskie have a record good enough to make a bowl...then you can do ALL the talking you want because you have deserved it. Until then, you have done nothing but beat scrubs and teams that you SHOULD be beating.
Just about anyone gets into bowls these days, it only take 6 wins to get there. This is one of the things that I think should be changed .... Even ND has made a bowl game the last few years and they should not have taken spots from more deserving teams each year.

I am under the assumption that you need to be AT LEAST .500 to go to a bowl. And the ONLY people to blame there is college football. Before, there were only about 10 bowl games....now, there are 32 bowl games....THIRTHY-TWO !!!! College football association(or whatever they're called) need to fill out those spots....or no $$$$$ from the sponors.
In the end, LIKE ALWAYS....it's all about the $$$$$$$$$
I guess if nobody spent the $$$$ to go to these bowl games they wouldn't exist. But people do spend the $$$$$ to go to these games, so the way I see it is, nobody's making them go, so what is the problem? Don't think Notre Dame should have been in a bowl game? Don't go, don't watch. When the market disappears, so will the bowl game. That money made in the bowl games helps lots of people (local economies, sports programs, etc...). Besides they're fun for the people involved.
A lot of these Bowl's HAVE gone away, but others have replaced them.
I would like to see them cut down to about 20, but thats just me....
There have been years that they have talked about a sub .500 team getting a bowl bid, I don;t think it has happened yet, but I guess it could, they always get close due to the large number of games.

Why??!! LOL...you guys won against a PITT team that is not very good. Hell, even CYB will tell you that.
