NCAA Championship Week

If they meet in a tournament game, how about we bring back the avatar bet? (BTW, good thing I went with New England's game against Buffalo as opposed to the Arizona one.)

Sure...........I'll take the Crusaders from Worcester,MA.

I may attend UW-Milwaukee, but I give them no shot of winning the tournament- I picked Butler, and HD did convince me that Cleveland State will be a darkhorse.

The Horizon is loaded with teams that have had past success in the NCAA Tournament: UW-Milwaukee, UW-Green Bay, Loyola, Cleveland St., Wright St., and of course most famously, Butler and Valpo.

Absolutely. The Big East and ACC tournamets are gonna be sick! :) :up

Do you think even though those 2 tournaments should be great that maybe those 2 tourneys take away some of the luster of it because its just a formality.

In other words, whereas the Big South or Colonial Athletic have to fight and claw for basically one spot in the tourney, The Big East and ACC is pretty much locked up. Its pretty much a given whos going and whos not. Yes, there could be upsets but still some teams are a lock to get in.

I will say, again, that those 2 tourneys should be great!!!!

Cornell has the inside shot to the Ivy's auto bid, but Princeton still has a chance at it (and stranger things have happened with Penn and Princeton winning that league so regularly).

Who would have thought Harvard would tank after beating Backstabber College? :)

Go Morehead!!!! My alma mater

Saying GT could win the ACC Tournament would be like saying the Detroit Lions could have won the SB if they were allowed into the playoffs. Not happening. I'd take 5 random guys at a gym and they'd beat GT.
ACC - Ga Tech :up

All we need is a tornado to force the game out of the Dome and into the Tit. It worked for the Mutts last year. ;)

It's no given who all's going to the NCAA Tournament from the ACC and Big East. For several of these teams their seasons will be on the line. Whatsmore the ACC Tournament is huge for all the teams in it. Outside of winning a NC or reaching the FF there is nothing bigger that a team can do than win the ACC Tournament.

The top four seeds all advanced in the Big South Tournament tonight. Radford, VMI, UNC-Asheville and Liberty all advanced to Thursday night's semifinals.

Cleveland St., Wright St., Illinois-Chicago and UW-Milwaukee all advanced to the second round of the Horizon Tournament.
