NBR & HD/SD Programs

Ok I have a question concerning NBR & HD/SD programs. If I want to record certain shows butonly on the HD channels, will the recorder allow you to only have the HD one record or is there a chance that it will pick up the SD version instead?
I know there is no NBR on any available E* receivers, but someone who is "in the know" with dish may be able to answer this question. Would be a shame if your HD recorder picked up the SD program instead!

Only way to find out is to wait for the 942 to be released. The 921 doesn't have NBR and is not expected to have it added.

I believe you can tell NBR to only pick up that show on a certain channel or on all channels. Can anyone confirm?

yes you can... Dish Pass will allow it on all channels. and if you pick the channel and set the timer that way it will pick on that channel only.
