NBC- switching sats?

I was on a cruise last week to Jamaica and Cozumel.

On the ships Network feeds, I can't recall, but it looked like NBC had a notice during commercials that it was terminating its AMC-3 Feed and switching to AMC-9(I think) I can't remember which and I didn't write it down.

Does anyone know what sat it was actually switched to? C-Band or Ku??

On the C band analog feeds on AMC 1, they have been flashing notices that ABC, NBC and CBS will be switching to AMC 3 effective 28 Sept 04. Maybe this is what you seen.

I couldn't recall. I was too busy suckin back rum & coke along with Smirnoff Ice.

They've already started moving some of the PT24 feeds to AMC3
