NBC coming to jackson,tn market

I heard an advertisement for WNBJ on the radio while i was at work today. i found a youtube video when i got home. the radio and video advertisements say coming in sept. i did a channel scan and it's not live yet.

FCC site shows just a construction permit. Interesting they use RF16 but map to PSIP 39. Conversely your FOX (WJKT) is on RF39 and maps to.....16. As long as one station doesnt have its PSIP crap out you'll be fine

forgot to post that about 3 weeks ago they finally went live OTA. They had been on Dish and the "smaller" cable company for a couple months now
Still not on Directv or Charter per posts on their facebook site

someone asked about Directv carriage and was told "sometime after the 1st of the year" (they still arent uplinked)

Also someone posted that their TV scanned in a 39-2 and it said "CW" with no video or audio. Maybe gpollack can confirm?

and folks are mad because they lost WMC 5 Memphis because of the "new" NBC going live

interesting that I saw they are carrying Ring of Honor Wrestling Saturdays at 6 (and a couple other times)
Reason I say interesting is usually ROH is only on Sinclair owned stations
