How do u get nba tv in hd. i didn't see it in a package. Even not under the sport pak

* You must have HD Access in order to get NBATV-HD

NBA TV is part of the sports pack:

DIRECTV - Sports

NBA TV-HD is available in a free preview this year with HD Access and Choice or above package (I believe).

I get the HD version but not the SD version which doesn't make sense, but I wouldn't watch the SD version with the HD version available anyway.

eh? Do you have the double SD/HD channel listing on/off?
Like if there are two channels that are exactly the same it won't show the SD channel on your channel guide.

On one of my boxes it is like that, but the other isn't.

Menu
Help & Settings
Setup
Display
Guide HD channels (its on the right side)
Select Hide SD duplicates.
