I have NBA league pass. I have noticed that not all of the NBA games on Dish Network are in HD. Even though it looks like according to the programming guide that they have room to broadcast the game in HD.

I am positive the games are being broadcast "locally" in HD. And many of the games not in HD on Dish network are available in HD on Direct TV. Why wouldn't the package be the same for both satellite providers?

I called Dish Network twice. Both times they told me they didn't know why all of the games weren't available in HD. And then they blamed the NBA, saying they were responsible for the TV packages.

But why would the NBA give Direct TV and Dish Network different HD packages?

It sounded like the "run-around" to me.

Is this a bandwidth issue?

Tonight the Heat are playing the Celtics and there is no HD broadcast for Dish Network league pass subscribers!!! AHHH!

Any help for this "frustrated Celtics fan" would be great.-thanks!

Dish still has not added enough HD channels for the regional sports networks. Many NHL Center Ice HD games have not been added as well this season. NESN-HD has been left out for quite a few Bruins games.
