lot of people ripping miami for lack of effort last night. they did look disinterested from the start but how do you do that in a finals series? i'll admit i have seen that attitude from them before but this time they're really playing with fire. this isn't just another team you're facing here.

Rey.... Lack of efforts means that you are a much more superior team and not trying. The Finals are the two best teams, that is how it works out almost 99% of the time. Would you say there was a lack of effort of San Antonio the Sunday night when they had their a$$ whipping? I wouldn't. There are times when nothing is working for your team and everything is working for the other. Then teams try to do too much as if there is a 10-point shot on the floor somewhere. In just about every series, there have been at least one blowout game...that does not mean those teams are that much better. San Antonio forgot the a$$ whipping they got Sunday, now it's up to Miami to do the same, if not, this could be over.

well there's no doubt they lose tomorrow and in my mind it's over. no way they'll comeback from that and win. i'm very disappointed in lebron who after having a hell of a season has shrunk in this series and looks like the lebron who played for us in that 1st finals appearance. i understand the spurs are doing what they gotta do defensively to contain lebron but he's having open looks and isn't making the shots when he as in the past. i hear what you're saying about the spurs in game 2 but they looked to me like they were fighting till the coach sat them down. miami looked like they gave up in the middle to end of that 3rd qtr. i did not see the effort. this inconsistent play from the heat is very irritating and has been throughout this post season. perhaps it will finally catch up with them.

That's exactly how I saw it Rey.

The odds are heavily against Miami, loser of game 3 in the finals, loses almost 93% of the time.Spurs still have 2 more consecutive home games,it's not insurmountable, but it's very close.I try to pull for Lebron but,he makes it very difficult,if the Heat go on to lose these finals,he will always be remembered as the guy who comes up short in the Finals.I dunno if it's the pressure that gets to him or what.Guys like Duncan,Jordan,Bird, and Magic, always seemed to shine in the Finals.

and i get what the spurs are doing defensively to keep lebron out of the paint, but if they're giving you jump shots then you gotta make those. it's the only way things will open up. that and the others gotta step it up because pretty much everyone played like S*** especially in that 2nd half.

If the Spurs win tonight do you think the Heat have it in them to win 3 in a row? Or will they give up?

i don't think they can just because the spurs are that good. two in a row maybe but 3 is too much to overcome. they lose tonight then congrats to the spurs and their fans on winning the championship this year. nothing is a given, everything is earned.

How is he the guy who always comes up short if he was an Finals MVP last year? As far as who you mentioned, how many Finals did they play? IF I am not mistaken, Bird and Magic lost 2 times each in the Finals with Magic getting SWEPT in '83. And also, Lebron is 28..it's not like he is retiring at the end of the season. I think its fair to judge is entire career AFTER he done, don't you think?

Come on Rey... really? The ONLY reality is when it says one team has won the required 4 games. I have faith.

i've seen too much basketball ( i know you've seen probably more) to think otherwise. i understand there's always a 1st time for everything but losing tonight will end it. i realize you don't like what i'm saying but odds are completely against us if they lose salsa. i think they'll get a win tonight but if not, you know the rest bud.

GO HEAT!

i agree and yes he got it done in last year's finals, so i think it's in him to get it done. question is, will he in this series?

Doesn't matter how we think salsa. It will be how the NBA,his teammates, and peers remember him.if the Heat go on to lose this series,Lebron will be remembered most for losing 3 championships, not winning 1.As to Bird and Magic, they won multiple championships,Bird 3 times,Magic,5 times. The Miami Heat, practically assembled a dream team,if they only win 1 championship, that will most likely be considered a failure.Lebron put that pressure on when he stated not 1,not 2,not 3,etc etc.Whether in jest or not.

I'm disappointed with the heats performance from game 3 and spo seems to agree with me. Before you ask, yes I talk with the coach! of course that can change tonight. Would you agree 1 game in san antonio could be enough? Yes it would make it harder but at least the last 2 games are here. As long as miami doesn't have to win 3 games in a row they do have a chance but that means tonight they must win papo.

When I talk to spo again I can get you on the line so we can all chat

If the heat lose this series I can tell you someone else may get more of the blame than lebron. Fair or not it's gonna be ugly. Who?
