I had an H20-100 and and an AT9 installed yesterday. All is well. What exactly is native mode on the H20? The so called manual is not much help. My TV is a new HD 16:9 Sharp 32" lcd. Is there a setting that will automatically provide the best quality without fiddling around?:)

Native sends out the signal to your display in the same format of the program.

So if the program is 720p it will auto to that; if it 1080i then that, if 480p then that. If you can live with the "stretch" of 4x3 programs, then you could set the receiver to always output 720p or 1080i; whichever you think looks best on your display. Just experiment with the output setting to determine what you like best.

Native

I keep mine set at 1080 with screen bars for 4:3 content. Reason being, when you keep it in Native, it takes several seconds to switch between HD and SD content.

I must have fast channel switching!
