Server Issues. We are very aware that there have been system issues the past few days. In troubleshooting the system, it has been determined that the issue is at our provider and is hardware related. As of 12:05 PM ET our provider has moved us to a new server.
Things seem to be running better on this new server. However in trying to diagnose the issue (before finding out it was a hardware issue) we made some system changes which we need to undo. So if you find any issues or errors please let us know in the Operations Center Forum.

eRace was interesting on FS1. Classic nascar on Fox this afternoon. 1986 short track race at Richmond.
My sister claims Hamlin bumped him. I didn't see any contact. Maybe that's the way iCars are?
The commentary was funny at times. "Here's Regan Smith at the virtual care center".
Junior said he didn't push it as hard as he could have, so I think he let him win since they were giving money to the Homestead area if Hamlin won.
What does Junior care? He's been retired for a couple years now and he and Hamlin have been racing these simulators against each other for more than a decade.
I was going to check out the classic race, since it was cool that it would be on network TV, but here in Charlotte of all places, the local FOX affiliate chose to show infomercials instead.
I watched the iRacing event for a little while. Its an interesting novelty as far as broadcasting it and running with many of the top drivers under the current circumstances, but honestly, I didn't get much out of it. I certainly get the realism and complexity of iRacing compared to simple everyday video games. I also understand the enjoyment and respect the talent of the participants...but I've never found the appeal of the e-sports thing as a spectator sport. I guess that even extends to racing, too. As a lifelong car nut, I guess I'm a fan of auto racing as much for the cars, as in REAL cars, as anything else. Maybe that's just me.
I just happened to tune in and FS1 is re playing the iRace ...
