NASA channel watch on all previous subbed receivers?

Checking a buddies old no longer subbed 4900s I noticed the NASA channel can still be watched. Is that true of any previously subbed boxes?

As I understand it this is true. NASA TV is a "public domain" channel, paid for by your tax dollars. If your receiver has had any package it will get NASA TV.

Nasa is Free to air any reciver can get it
