Hello,

I recently installed a Coolsat 5000 with the greatest of ease....well...after reading through these forums, it was easy :)

The problem I am having now is that I installed a second Coolsat 5000 in my bedroom and am having problems watching both at the same time.

If I watch a channel such as Cartoon Network (on 119, channel 176), and I watch another channel that is on the 119 LNB, everything is ok. But if I switch one of the receivers to a channel on the 148 LNB, one of the receivers loses signal. I get a No or Bad Signal message. Same if I try to watch a channel on 110 on one and 119 or 148 on the other.

So far, I have tried this setup with 3 seperate DirecTv dishes (1 for 110, 1 for 119, and 1 for 148) and 2 Dish 500 Legacy LNBs (1 for 110 and 119 and another for 148). I am using a DP34 switch which I am told can support 4 Coolsats.

Here are my settings:

110:
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: Single
Frequency: 11.250
22KHz: OFF
Diseqc: 1.0
Committed: 1
Legacy Switch: OFF

119:
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: OCS-DP (Single for the first setup where I have 3 separate Dishes)
22KHz: OFF
Diseqc: 1.0
Committed: 2
Legacy Switch: OFF

148:
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: Single
Frequency: 11.250
22KHz: OFF
Diseqc: 1.0
Committed: 3
Legacy Switch: OFF

I have heard that I need to use Diseqc: 1.0/1.1 and alter the committed/uncommitted fields. I have tried this, but no luck and I do not know what I should put for the uncommitted field if my 110 is committed to 1 and my 119 is committed to 2 and so forth.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry can't help will banning for life work?
