Multi-Dish (DishNet Mix with FTA) ... multi receivers

Having made the costly mistake of purchasing a SW64, which doesnt work in my configuration, I decided that someone in this forum will know how to solve my problem. Can anyone direct me to appropriate links or recommend which switches I need for the followinig equipment:

Dishes:
DishPro 500 Two twin output LNBF (poiinted at 110, 119)
60cm FTA Dish single universal LNBF (or can install Twin Universal LNBF if needed) - Telstar 5

Receivers:
1 ViewSat 2000
2 PanSat 2700A

What switches are needed so that the three receivers can view all programming material from all satellites independently.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Try MPEG2/FTA forum what are your three receivers you only listed2?

The reason that it doesn't work is that the SW64 is Legacy, and your Dish 500 is Dishpro. Dishpro lnb's do not work with Legacy switches, or vice versa.
Being that this is a FTA setup, what is on 110/119 that you can see? Nasa and music?

One Viewsat VS2000 and a total of three Pansat 2700A

I changed out the lnb's from the Dishnet Pro500 to the type used in DirectTV and I am able to see all material using a diseqc switch... but that only helps me with regards to one receiver (another diseqc switch will allow another receiver). What I need here is a multiswitch, but dont know which one.

Have not tried the sw64 in this configuration yet.

If you have all dual LNBs (legacy for the DSS stuff), 3 multi-switches and 3 DiSEqC switches would do what you want. Kepp in mind this won't work with a 'Dish' reciever but will work fine with the receivers you listed.

Use the multi-switches to 'share' each of the satellite positions across the three DiSEqC switches. You'd have room left for one more receiver if you went this route.

See the diagram at the bottom of this page:
http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Products/DiSEqC/DiSEqC-multi-switches.htm
They've got a package deal for $99.

It seems a waste to spend all that money ($100+) for NASA / GOLTV / music on all recievers. To each his own. Add G10R to the mix and it's all worth it ;).

In my feeling, these receivers could be use to hack Dish programming, thats why he asked the complete set up. Only a fool will spenting all this money to just watch those couple free channels on Dish.

akuku...you obviously are a hacker because nobody in their right mind would question the integrity of sksatellite

banned.
