turner south (and hence - the braves) is only available in a few states in the southeast. if i were to subscribe to dish or direcTV in one of those states and then move to the San Francisco area without changing my address - would i still be able to see Turner South?

Now that the morality police has spoken...

Since this is NO more "illegal" than people "moving" to get OOM locals, (which IS openly discussed here) yes, it will work, since TS is on a CONUS beam. If you were to use E*, you would also get the Atlanta locals, since they are also still on CONUS; however, this could change at any time. With D*, you would NOT get any of the Atlanta locals, since all of their Atlanta locals are on spot beams. Also, do be aware that on both systems, you will NOT get the national feed of TBS, since it is blacked out in the Atlanta market. (you get the local ch. 17 feed of WTBS instead) On D*, the local feed is on spot like the others & on E*, the local feed is on the 61.5 bird, which requires another dish to receive.
