Moving Arabic channels from 61.5 to 118.7

Dear All,

I have DISH 300 pointed to 61.5 and receiving Arabic international channels. Recently, I have been getting signal lost message on some transpondars. I called DISH Network and they told me that the reason being because all international channels will be moving to 118.7. Any idea if this true or not?

lost message sounds like something is going out and you are losing signal. Bad cable, cable end, misaligned dish, etc

You'll get a postcard about the channel move and a dish upgrade when they move the channels to 118.7

what signal strengths are you getting (menu 6-1-1)...also what receiver?
