Has anyone ever mounted a standard Dish Network / DirecTV / FTA dish mounting foot onto aluminum siding?

When I lived in Florida the house had a nice 8" siding along the roof line where I easily installed the mounting foot for all my smaller dishes and OTA antenna. Now we live in Pennsylvania and our house only has aluminum siding without any wooden siding along the roofline.

Is there an easy way for me to mount my smaller dishes and OTA antenna on the aluminum siding without creating too much damage? Perhaps mount a piece of pressure treated wood onto the siding. I am also not sure about how I would tighten the lag bolts without pushing in the siding.

Have you looked at those mounts from one of the sponsors here--click on the DishMount logo at the top of the page. i was checking that out last night, they seem to have some creative ideas for mounting small dishes.
