I have a Motorola 922 4DTV receiver. I have the TV next to it hooked up with RCA plugs and the rest of the TVs hooked with coaxial cable. Sometimes when I turn on one of the coaxial TVs all I get is snow. I go in and turn off the 922, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in, wait for the warm up, then turn it back on and I have a picture and sound. I called the Motorola help desk, which was a waste of time. They told me that I should have all of the TVs hooked up to one or the other and the problem is that the receiver doesn't know which connection to send the signal to. I don't buy that at all. Why would they have two different type of connections if they can't be utilized at the same time? Have any solutions?

Thanks,
~J~

Jim,

I agree with you that this should work ok. If you are sure you don't have a bad cable connection between the receiver's RF output and the TV then it sounds like the TV modulator inside the receiver is having a problem. You could pop the cover and look for a simple connection problem.
