I was messing about with a motorized DBS dish yesterday, certainly beats a Dish 500 or Phase III dish, maybe the answer for some people who are only allowed one small dish on there home! Every DBS satellite you can see in the arc with one dish :yes

I also tried an upside down Phase III dish :shocked

The FCC says as long as the dish is under a meter, you can have as many dishes up as you want.....thats why I have 5 :)

how do you motor between the satellites with the receiver? :D

Some people deal with a higher level than the FCC, the dish has to pass the wife test : )

You could use a Digibox or V-box to move the dish but of course I use a FTA receiver.

Why tie your self down to 3-5 satellites when you can aim at EVERY DBS satellite forever.........maybe its just me but I would not like to have to get a new dish everytime Dish/DirecTV/VoOM add a new DBS slot! Plus it means you can fine tune your dish from east to west to keep it BANG ON the satellite :D
