Chieto,

If you want to view any of the free channels on the circular satellites, like the NASA channel, you will want to use a DiSEqC switch placed in between your motor and the Invacom LNBF.

It does not matter which port on the switch (1, 2, 3 or 4) that you use for the linear or circular connections as long as you set the installation menu selections within the reciever to match what you have hardwired.

With a typical 4X1 DiSEqC switch (the most readily available) you have four input ports, but connecting all four to the Invacom LNBF is a bit futile. You only need two ports, one for each polarity type (circular/linear).

There are not too many channels available that are in the clear (FTA) from the circular birds and other than NASA on 119, the ones that are in the clear are not usually worth watching. However, it is handy to have this option when checking your dish and motor alignments. The circular signals are easier to detect.

Galaxy 10R is now Galaxy 18 at 123W and these are linear signals.

There are many more across the arc. 30W, 43W, 63W, 72W, 74W, 79W, 83W, 87W, 89W, 91W, 93W, 95W, 97W, 99W, 101W, 103W, 105W, 113W, 116.8W, 123W, 125W and 129W all have something available that is FTA (in the clear) and linear.

Some sats like 129 only have one channel available, but it might be to your liking.

97W and 123W carry the bulk of the FTA channels.
