More support for the theory that MS is hoping to drag things out, giving electronic delivery more time to catch on. By supporting the underdog, they may succeed in killing off both packaged formats and "...holding off what many see as the inevitable..." - i.e. a Blu-ray victory.

WELL, todays news of $150 million of M$ bucks to entice Paramount and Dreamworks to release in HD-DVD should go along way in convincing everyone that M$ is NOT behind this format war. "AND PIGS FLY"

It's been confirmed over at AVS. Amir has stated that MS was not behind nor did not pay Paramount for their decision. Quit spreading FUD.

As soon as all the press agrees it didn't happen, I'm sure the idea M$, good old honest straight shooting M$, didn't pay for it, will be believed.
