I ran a 220 volt line in my basement the other day for a commercial fryer for making french fries! My daughter was a little concerned when she saw the quite large range receptacle and wires that I was installing and asked, "WHAT kind of satellite receiver did you buy NOW?"

When I run my system on 220, the mesh dish doubles as a backyard bug zapper.
