The latest effort from the cheese-maker David E Kelley debuted tonight on TNT. "Monday Morning" seems to be the next "ER" judging from the pilot/premier episode.
I kind of like David E Kelley's stuff because it is generally fun, silly, and generally raises good issues. He can be heavy-handed when he wants to make a point, and tonight was no exception. The right to die with dignity while doing everything one can to live was on prominent display in this episode. We'll see how things shake out, but I kind of enjoyed this episode. I'll reserve judgement for a few episodes. But if it continues on this course it could become one of my new favorites.
