OTHER Modify Dish

Hello Guys,
I currently have a 8ft mesh dish for cband. I was wondering is it possible to extend the edges of the dish to make it a 10ft or 12ft dish. Can then gage metal be used.
Any Ideals.

It's been done, but IMO, it's a LOT of work for a "maybe it'll work".

Much better to go out looking for another dish that's already the size you want, they're still out there if you are looking.

This has been tried before and I even experimented with it on a 6 ft dish. Nothing gained.
To do it right you would have to be a robot that would get the angles perfect.
Not worth all the effort applied.
