'Modern Men,' 'Richest' Get March Tryouts at WB
The WB has found homes for two more of its midseason shows, which will each get a little time before the public before the network closes up shop later in the year.
The sitcom "Modern Men" and unscripted show "Survival of the Richest" will both air on Friday nights starting in March. "Modern Men," which stars Jane Seymour ("Wedding Crashers," "Dr. Quinn") as a life coach to three hapless guys, will debut at 9:30 p.m. ET Friday, March 17. "Survival of the Richest," a competitive take on the notion of seeing how the other half lives, will debut March 31, filling the 8 p.m. hour for six weeks. The scheduling moves mean three-fourths of the network's current Friday schedule -- "What I Like About You," "Living with Fran" and "Twins" -- will be off the air for much of the spring. The WB's most successful Friday show, "Reba," will remain in its 9 p.m. slot.
