Model 5000 + 8PSK?

Is there _any_ way to add 8PSK to a 5000 unit? I'd love to be able to use the 8VSB HDTV digital modulator output, but its not compatible with the 6000 (or is it?). Thanks all.

Are you asking about a 5000 or a 6000? I assume you made a typo and the 5000 needs to be replaced with an 811 or a 921.

No boba, He wants to figure a way way to use the 8vsb remodulator so he can record HD for dish like could be done before they switched to 8psk on the sat signal.
