Why and the heck did the they send Fielder home? You never make the 1st out at home plate.

I could see if it were Jackson or Berry running but that was pretty questionable with Prince.

I was shocked they sent him. That's a big man to try to score from first (even with that weird bounce off the wall and by Blanco in left).

Or third ...

I thought the same thing.

Had Fielder made a better slide he was safe.
His front foot never came down on the plate is why he was out, by the time his other leg slide o9ver the plate, he was out.

I've been switching back and forth with this game. I didnt see the Fielder play but you dont send a man of Fielder's size home. Its not worth it that early in the game.

Just saw the replay of Fielder being out at home and he was out. I dont know what Fielder was arguing about. If the throw was a tad late, then Fielder makes it because it was a good slide. The only thing was that the left fielder threw it to Posey and it was a good throw and Fielder was out.

I hope your pitcher is alright. That was a nasty ball to the head. I can't believe he's ok to still pitch.

He is a tough guy but I can't believe he is still out there either. He took a hard liner off his throwing hand wrist in the ALCS and stayed in that game as well.

I didn't see that one. But that's insanely impressive. Hardball to the head screams concussion to me. But I'm sure the trainers will keep an eye on him to make sure he's really ok.

Thats all the Tigers need is Fister to go down from an injury. Thats from a game standpoint. On a much, much more serious note, I hope hes ok.
