Mitsubishi WS-55511 will not turn on

green light (reset) wont reset. checked the capacitors in the dm board lthey were good. had to change i diode. still have the blinking reset light that wont go off. tv will not power up. any advice?

Usually, blinking light means your bulb, power board, DM board, or the light engine is dead (not uncommon with DLPs). Depending on the color of the blinking, will determine the solution. You might have problems as the DM board and power board usually only last 4-5 years. Mitsubishi has stopped supporting it, but there are after market products that might still be available. You might also try over at AVS in the 55111 thread. Might be time for a new set. try http://fixya.com
