I have had AM-21's hooked to my receivers for almost a year now. In that time I know a couple of new sub-channels went live but my receiver does not get them. I tried resetting my DVR (HR-24) after clearing the list of OTA channels and now I lost some of the channels I was getting before. I am in a spot where I can get 2 markets. Here is exactly what happened.
I was looking for WPIX 11.4 as I was getting .1, .2 and .3. I was getting all the other NYC sub-channels as far as I know. After clearing the list then reloading them, all NYC OTA were gone except for WRNN and WTBY along with all of thier sub-channels. This is my main market area so I get all of the NYC channels via satellite.
I also get the Scranton, PA channels and was trying to get the new WSWB 38.2 for MeTV. I got all of the Scranton OTA channels back but no 38.2. I guess that one is just not in the system.
How can I get the rest of NYC OTA channels back?
Thanks.

It'll only tune in what is in D*'s database. If they're fairly new channels and not in the database, the AM-21 won't lock in on them.

The best thing would be to contact those stations and ask them to update their channels with D*. That's the only way they'll get added to their database.

You say they were in the list before the reboot ?
Try moving the antenna a bit, sometimes your getting a reflection and will get more of less channels.
If they antenna has been moved, you may not be pointing quite right to pick up what you once had.
