missing hd cahnnels

I went out on a service call , the cx has 12 h-20 receivers, his system was installed over a year ago and has had no problems till recently. He has a slimline dish going to 6x16 multiswitch to feed all 12 receivers. when i went outhere last week he was missing some channels like cnn, cnbc, nfl network, and the golf channels theres a few more channels that he was missing, so i replaced the lnb and realigned the dish thiking datwas the problem but it still was missing those channels, i put 1 of the lines directly and everychannel was coming in so i figuered i had a bad 6x16..
I order a new 6x16 and went outhere today to replaced it and all those channels that were missing were coming in now,
but now it was missing espn, espn spike tv and a few other channels.i rebooted the receivers but is still missinf channels.. any suggestions on what the problem might be.. thankss

Were all receivers missing the same channels?

When you do a signal strength test, were only odds or evens missing?

I'd check the cables from the dish to the 6x16 switch.

Also check for wet connectors .
You've covered about everything else already.
Don't forget the ground block connectors.
