Missing Channels and Changed Order

Last Memorial Day weekend my HD channels suddenly started moving up into the 4000 ch range. I have contacted Dish and they sent me a new receiver but that did not fix the issue. I had my local installer come take a look and we both came to the same general conclusion, it is my setup. I live in a very wooded area and originally was set up on the standard 110, 119, 129 configuration. Within a year my HD channels only wouldn't hold a signal. After troubleshooting we were instructed to instead use 2 Dish500 antenna and use the 61.5 instead of the 129. With the exception of not being able to get my locals, I had no problems for the next 2 years, that is until this past summer.

It was mostly just an annoyance to have channels in random locations but not we are starting to completely lose hd channels. I can no longer get Big 10, Food Network, and several of the Starz channels in HD.

Any suggestions? I am a Western Arc customer but had someone suggest that we get permission to install an Eastern Arc setup which has a clear line of sight.

Some HD channels have been migrated off of 61.5, Food Network is one for example. It sounds like that we would want to try to switch you to an Eastern Arc setup. If you want to PM me your account information I can take a look into getting this setup for you.
 
Going to an EA dish is a good suggestion if you have no LOS to WA. The hybrid installation you have now is missing quite a few HD channels since they were gratuitously moved to 72.7. You will of course still be missing your HD locals if they are only on 129.
 
I'm going to speak with my local installer first and see if he is able to do it (friend of the family). If not, i'll PM you and have you assist me. Thanks for the info!
 
When a timer didn't record I discovered that Comedy Central HD is missing from my lineup. I don't know if any others are missing. I have called Dish probably 8 times since last night and received a different answer each time as to why I am missing those channels. Even the tech people offered nothing more than, "Can you go to the installation screen?" After researching today on the InterWebs I discovered this talk of upgrade and called Dish yet again and still got no answer other than the usual, "Please click the menu button." I have the 110/119 and 61.5 set up. Any ideas what I should do or how I can get a hold of a competent CSR? Thanks.

You need to contact one of the DIRT members. Soumds to me like u meed tobe switched to an easternarc dish. DISH has been moving hds off 61.5 to 72.7.
If u look to the bottom of the page the DIRT members on line r in red or go back a couple of postings and pm zach he is a DIRT MEMBER
