David Milch ("Deadwood","NYPD Blue","Hill Street Blues") debuts his new series "John from Cincinnati" on HBO-HD on June 10th.
Most fans of the above named shows will want to give it a try on general principles, but a short description is that it is based on novels about surfers in Southern California, but has a "Twin Peaks" feel, rather than an "O.C." feel.
PS I'm still trying to get details, but there are rumors that you get a better deal on HBO in DVR Advantage after June 1st... good timing !
