Not that I follow the Mariners that closely, but it's saddening to hear one of my favorite managers has lost the passion.

This was really odd, the Mariners are on a 7 game winning streak at the time of him resigning.
Make it 8 as they won today as well ....

Looks like ANOTHER case of the ownership not seeing eye-to-eye with the manager. Look like LAST YEARS situation between the Marlins ex-manager Joe Giraldi and the owner Jeffrey Loria....you know the one where the manager WON MANAGER OF THE YEAR??!!!

Hargrove on record this morning saying he lost his passion for baseball, and that he made his decision after the losing streak that preceded the winning streak. Kind of funny, I always thought winning reignited passion.

You have got to be really burned out when your team is winning to just quit in the middle of the season. I doubt anyone would even give him another shot after that move.
