Meeting with Blu-ray and HD DVD camps: What should I ask them?

Today is the opening day of CEDIA EXPO 2006. And I have a meeting scheduled with representatives of the Blu-ray Disc association!
Also, Toshiba will have a press conference.
What would you like me to ask them?

My 2.0 firmware just came in the mail and it says it is for both Toshiba models and the RCA model # ( don't know what the number is because I am at work ).

Is there a problem with the Sammy BD machine? If not then, why after all of these years cant they encode mpeg2 worth a damn?

- when will be VC-1 or h.264 the default codec on Blu-Ray? In other words when they are going to dsrop this PoS MPEG2?
- is there a chance to see in the foreseenable future (ie within 6-7 months) a sub-$300 Blu-Ray player and a sub-$700 Blu-Ray recorder, both are fully compatible with at least all (their own ) Blu-Ray standards or even with all DVDs including RAM, R/RW/+/-?
