I got tired of moving my single coaxial antenna feed
from the PVR741 to the 811, so I finally bought the
SW 44 amp/switch. When I try to set it up, it
seems it only will accept the 110 or the 119
feed, not both. Since the nice Dishman didn't run
two antenna lines down, how do I make this work?

What am I doing wrong?

First, What is on the roof? If you have a DPP you wouldn't need a switch just another line and a separator to the 741. If you have a DP you would need a DP34 and another line from the roof and 2 to the 741 . If you have legacy equipment and have a SW 44 you would need Duels on the roof and 4 lines to the switch and 2 to the 741. Set the 811 up and run check switch this will tell you what equipment is on the roof.

I have a Twin 500 on the roof, one coax coming
down to the family room, a SW 44, a 811, and a
721.

The putting a Y cable into the 721 makes sense.

After I stand in line for the Xbox 360, I'll go over
to and get the cable.

Thanks,

If you have a Legacy Twin it won't work with the SW44. A SW44 requires 4 inputs for 4 outputs. A DP Twin won't work with a SW44 either they are different technologies. A Dish Pro Plus Twin with a separator going to the 721 on a single coax would be the best setup. The other leg of the twin can be run to the 811. :)

Never heard of a 741. I assume you mean 721 - and it's NOT going to work properly with a single feed either. And you can NOT use a Y-cable (whatever that might be).

No matter what LNB/switching solution you end up with, you WILL need at least one more cable from that Dish down to "near" the receivers.

Boba has given you the best solution. DPP-Twin, DPP-Sep for the 721, and the other feed from the DPP-Twin to the 811. That setup will also allow you to add a wing dish for the Voom channels - the wing would just plug into the DPP-Twin's input port. Easy.
