Two more HD DVD titles will be released this week: Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket" and Clint Eastwood's "Unforgiven". This brings the total count of released HD DVDs to 15:

When will they start releaseing NEW DVD in HD on a weekly basis? This is one key areas that will make it a success

Actually they started last week.
"Rumor Has it..." was the first title released day-and-date with its Standard Definition version. It is also the first combo disc: HD-DVD on one side, DVD on another.

Not much info on Full Metal Jacket at Amazon... I assume like the SD and all the HD versions on SatelliteTV it will be Mono...

Mono? I don't know. Warner's website says:

English: Dolby Surround 5.1 -
Francais: Dolby Surround 5.1 -
Latin Spanish: Dolby Surround 5.1 -

I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
