What began as an apparent simple disagreement between the camps of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. over how to handle drug testing for their megafight -- tentatively scheduled for March 13 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas -- has spiraled so out of control that the potential biggest money fight in boxing history was in serious jeopardy on Christmas Day.
Pacquiao, angered by accusations from the Mayweather camp that he uses performance-enhancing drugs, said he would file a defamation lawsuit against Mayweather and Golden Boy Promotions.
"Enough is enough. These people, Mayweather Sr., [Mayweather] Jr. and Golden Boy Promotions, think it is a joke and a right to accuse someone wrongly of using steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs," said Pacquiao, who denied that he has ever used any banned substance and has passed all of his drug tests. "I have tried to just brush it off as a mere pre-fight ploy but I think they have gone overboard."

I KNEW that the Mayweather camp was gonna pull something crazy/stupid sh** out of their prospective a$$e$$!! The Nevada State Athletic Commission is perfectly capable of running the requested drug test. WHY do you need the Olympic format where they can call at ANY time and demand a drug test?!

I just think the Mayweather camp is scared of Pacquiao....period! I sort of hope that settle things where the threat of a lawsuit with hinder/hamper the fight.

There are two problems: ONE, what is wrong the Nevada State Athletic Commission doing the test? They have never been accussed of ANY wrong doing that I can think of, so WHY so against them now? They have already stated they would test BEFORE and AFTER the fight. And TWO, the Olympic committee will test at any time of the day...wake people up and demand testing within 1 hour of the call for testing...don't know about you, but those guys train HARD and ALOT.....they ALSO need their rest inbetween training regiments. Pacquiao has never failed a blood nor urine test in ANY country in the world nor ANY state in the US.

I knew that the Mayweather team would either demand WAY TOO much money or some bullsh** demand out of leftfield and litterally point the finger and state that this is all the Paquiao camps fault. WHERE has Mayweather been when the Pacquiao camp was demand this fight almost two years ago? No where to be found....

He has never wanted ANY PART of Pacquiao.....hell, he would even fight Migueal Cotto.
