making payment ahead of autopay

Is it possible on the my account page of the D* website to make monthly bill payments ahead of time. I see on the page that you can do that but i want to make sure that if i make full payment ahead of time that i won't have the whole bill taken out on the date due with auto pay.

Yep, I do it time to time. Look at the day listed on your DirecTV acct. If you are 7 business days or more from that, then do it. If you are within 7 days; DON'T. I personally use a 10 day rule.

This may be an odd question but why not just let the autopay go through or cancel autopay all together?
