I've had a Magnavox 32 in HDTV for about 6 months. No longer under warranty. On the right/middle of the screen there is a long, dark black streak down the display that shows at all times. It's shaped somewhat like a tornado. Is this a common thing and any ideas if it's fixable?

An update to my 32MF231 problem. I tried contacting local repair places and they have no schematics for it since they don't sell Magnavox. There's no authorized dealers in Grand Forks or any other nearby cities. I can't find a directory to determine if there's one in say, Fargo or Duluth.
Should I just sell this TV flaw and all or is there any reasonable hope of getting it fixed? It's a good set apart from this one issue.

I happen to own one. It is not a bad set and I got it at an irresistible price through ubid. Sad to say you may need to send it to a repair center and I have no idea where the closest one is. There is a magnavox facility 5 miles from my house but that does not help you.
