So my Droid X finally got the 2.3 OTA system update (after I had to restore the bloatware that I had disabled), and with it came the Madden 11 demo. The main app is pretty small, but it downloads a hefty amount of files to the SD card, but after playing with it for a bit, I'd say its pretty decent. Graphics are excellent, game play is good.
I still don't think they needed to install it as a system app (which I find annoying beyond belief), but it a sign that Android is really taking off in the gaming world.
The demo only plays Colts v Saints, but the full game is $9.99, charged to your verizon account. On a whim I bought it, and within 30 seconds was able to play any team I wanted.
