Lost Speed HD and Other HD channels

Guys,

I am a 15 year customer of Directv and for the first time I am losing signal regularly. I have a year and a half old HD system with DVR and starting two weeks ago I started to get a weaker and weaker signal until losing the upper numbered HD stations. Is this due to the relocation of the satellite for repairs or are there other issue I should be looking into...

You probably have an alignment issue. Any storms lately? Can you tell us what your signal strength numbers are?

I am going to look at the numbers tonight. I wanted to mention that my father lives within 15 miles and has experienced the same problems. This is why I am curious about the changes with the satellites. It has been a slow degrade over two weeks so I don't think it has been caused by a storm. I didn't realize there was a problem at first as I had not watched Speed for a while but there was some programming I was recording on the DVR that was pixelated in places when I went to play it back and now there is no signal. It is also limited to HD channels above 500 from what I can tell...
