Lost Satellite Signal (during the day)

I currently have 1 dish and it's pointed at 61.5, for international programming. I have a 301 receiver and no switch.

As of wednesday, I've been getting a lost satellite signal error message on two of my international channels during the daytime, but at night, the channels appear without problem. However, I continue to receive some PI channels without interruption during the day, while my international channels are out.

I've gone through tech phone support, and they instructed me on the various steps including turning the receiver off, etc. I have excellent signal strength, as well. This problem is a recent one.

Does anybody know what might be causing this?

I dumped a pot of cold water on my lnb, and my programming came back - atleast, temporarily. I'll try the DHHP, ask for a new LNBF for a real fix.

If anyone has any further information - please advise.

sounds like your LNB is reacting to the different temperatures. I had a Twin LNB that did that too (would lose just some channels during the day)
