Lost remote?

I don't have a 722K anymore and a friend lost the location of his remote in his house.
Does the 722K have a remote find somewhere in the menu? A beep, beep, beep, from the remote?

Nope it doesn't. Neither does a Harmony, at least the model I (used to) have.

Radioshack used to have a little box receiver you could stick to a remote. It would beep when you pushed the included transmitter.

Neither of these help the OP now though.

Remotes are cheap on ebay and almost as cheap from DISH. If it is the IR #1 remote the UHF #2 can be temporarily programmed to operate Tuner #1.

For those who have a Micro Center store nearby: they have 21.0 remotes in stock for $9.99 all the time. I bought a couple last time I was there and put them away in case I need a replacement.
