In case anyone else has this problem...

Last night I completely lost reception from all of the OTA channels on my Hopper. I checked the connections and all was fine, so I opened the front door and hit the red reset button. When the Hopper came back in service the OTA channels were back.

Last night I completely lost reception from all of the OTA channels on my Hopper. I checked the connections and all was fine, so I opened the front door and hit the red reset button. When the Hopper came back in service the OTA channels were back. Not unusual with Directv or DISH that is why both have a RED BUTTON REBOOT. And if that doesn't work it is time to pull the power cord and do a hard reset

This was a problem when the ota module first came out. I haven't had the problem in a long time. The red button reboot usually fixes it as the OP found out.

Problem is usually caused by weak stations that are going in and out
