Lost locals on 622???

I read a few reviews of people saying their signal strength improved for their locals with the 622, and I have experienced that as well on a couple of local channels. But on two of my locals (PBS & Fox), the 622 does not show any signal at all. My Fox channel wasn't very good with my 811 anyways, but my PBS came in around 88-93% on my 811.
Has anyone else noticed any problems with any OTA locals?

I had to manually add my locals as the scan seemed to skip right by them. It took my 622 about 3 seconds to lock onto the signal doing the manual scan so be patient. I don't know why I'm having this problem because my lowest signal reading is 88 with a few of them being 98. I don't have pixilation or any other problems when I'm watching OTA so who knows what the problem is.

I tried to manually add these channels and it still would not pick up a signal at all. I would wait 8-10 seconds on each channel, but nothing.

My 942 has the same problem, and frankly I was hoping that the 622 would be better.

My TV (55" Sony Grand Wega) gets great reception on it's HD receiver, but my 942 won't pick up a glimmer of 2 OTA HD locals that the TV gets with no problem. I have tried auto scan & manually adding them w/no luck.

I've been waiting for the rebate to get a 622, but I'm seeing less & less of a reason to change any time soon.

Is DISH aware of the apparent poor OTA HD reception of their receivers, and more importantly do they care?

try doing a front panel reset .... hold power button in for about 6 seconds ... and it will reboot itself

I tried that also, but still no change. I'm just glad it's the PBS that does not come in and not one of the other channels that I actually watch.
