Lost locals all day Sunday 5-7-06

Charleston, Huntington WV market lost locals all day Sunday (at least in my small pool of family and friends.)

Anyone else in my market or any others lose them?

Wife unhappy about season ending Crossing Jordan or some drama girl show! Had to go to neighbors house and watch cable feed.

Glad it wasn't football season!

Locals were back this AM (Monday the 8th)

Seems as though there was an issue at the POP, as both Dish and Direct lost Charleston/Huntington locals.

Interesting. D* and E* have different LRF's. E*'s is in Huntington on top of the WV Building (IIRC), but D*'s is up in Teays Valley at the old WVAH studio. Both are getting signal OTA and my digital was fine.

I have a friend at WCHS who is checking into this for me to see if it was a LRF issue or not. It could be that D* and E* are piggybacking on the same fiber and it got cut.

Update: There was an equipment failure at the LRF at WVAH on the D* rack. My friend doesn't know why E*'s locals were affected.
