I lost my HDMI output to my Sony LCD. CSR said to buy a new cable, I did and it still didn't work. Then they said ok we will send another reciever. The HDMI output was ok until it update itself then went out again. They are now sending a third box. Any ideas? Is this a software issue or a hardware issue. The CSR's are useless. All they know how to do is send boxes. I've hard booted the reciever many times and it' still a no go.

The old revisions of the 622 had this issue, and possible the sent you a older replacement.
The issue seems to be with the mount of the connector in the 622. I used component for the longest time time till i got a second 622, and now i use hdmi again.
Check the rev of the 622 it's a letter, i think, after the s/n on the back.
