A couple of days ago, I lost several channels on both of my receivers. The signal strength meters on both show that I have high signal strength (>85%) on even transponders and 0% strength on odd transponders.
Since the problem is the same on both receivers, I figure that rules out a bad receiver or cabling. That leaves a bad dual lnb or the dish alignment is off.
Is it possible for the dish alignment to cut out only odd transponders? I figure it would not, that mis-alignment would affect all transponders.
Does that make sense? Is there any way to test the lnb? Also since it is a dual lnb, would both lnb outputs be affected if it is bad?
Thanks.
